Pictor is a frontend, graphical database tool that enables users in aworkstation environment to access and manipulate data without having tolearn Structured Query Language (SQL) commands or other data manipulationlanguages (DMLs). Pictor provides a client interface to the InterBaserelational database system.Using the extensive power and graphics capabilities found in today'sleading workstations, Pictor is an easy-to-use, mouse-driven alternativeto data manipulation languages. It enables any user to perform standardrelational database operations, such as limit, sort, and join; and tocreate, modify, and store procedures through mouse-driven, pop-up menus.
